Here are a few things I’ve loved this week…
A Picture:
Sunrise on June 7th. I ran to the top of a hill to take this. While I was running, I couldn’t see over the hill whether the sun had already crested the mountains in the distance. As I pushed and panted my way up, I repeated, “Please wait for me, please wait for me, please wait for me”. I got there just in time.
A perspective:
The Perfect Cake
A wheel of Gouda, topped with a brie, protected by salami sticks, led by a camel (possibly a dragon). This was a surprise belated birthday cake that some of my friends gave me this weekend. Well and truly, my perfect cake. 🤍
